What I've been up to the Month of August

So I decided to blog a little about what I've been doing during the Month of August for my health and fitness goals. So here it is:

  • Became a Independent Team Beach Body Coach
  • Ordered/received my P90X Results and Recovery Formula
  • Ordered/received my Shakeology
  • Been following my Turbo Jam Schedule on Wowy Supergym
  • Logging my workouts in Wowy Supergym
  • Joined Coach Tiyona's 8 in 8 ab challenge
  • Been working out 5 days a week to Turbo Jam
  • Been working out with 8 in 8 twice a week
  • Been trying new recipes through Beach Body's Meal Planner
  • Been drinking my Shakeology at least once daily
  • Been reading 10 pages per day
  • Made follow ups with my new customers
  • Learning about my business
  • Pushing myself harder than ever to reach my goals
  • Working on making two new contacts a day and meeting 5 new people a week
  • Getting the business tools I need to be successful
  • Checking in with my coaches regularly and getting help when needed
  • Taking pictures of my BB recipes and saving them for a future challenge
So these are most of the things I have been working on in August. There are many more, but these are specifically for my health and fitness goals.

Contract with Self:

I will continue to push myself and do what it takes to reach my health and fitness goals. I will not let anyone, thing, feeling, emotion, ect get in the way of my goals. I know I will have bad days, but those days I will push myself harder because I want this. This is my life and I am the only one that can take control of it and get to where I want to be. I am not perfect, but I am me and I have goals and plans for my life. I will keep my goals in focus always.

Goals for August 28-Sept 3, 2011

My goals for this week are:

  • Continuing to read 10 pages per day - deadline - lifetime
  • Continuing to eat healthier - deadline- lifetime
  • Continue to follow my Turbo Jam Schedule - deadline- 28 days
  • Start waking up earlier- deadline - September 2nd
  • Continue going to bed early - deadline- life
  • Start working out first thing in morning- deadline- September 2nd
  • Continue meeting 5 new people per wk - deadline- lifetime
  • Talk to 2 people per day- deadline- lifetime
  • Continue learning and growing my business - deadline- lifetime
  • Set up my GoDaddy Website - deadline- September 2nd
  • Do at least 4 training sessions per day with my dog- deadline- lifetime
  • Continue using third party tools - deadline-lifetime
  • Drink shakeology daily - deadline - lifetime
These are my goals, some are continuous, but I needed to add them to my weekly because I need to see them and remember what I am working towards.

I will reach all of my goals by taking the small steps needed first. I will not jump in over my head and get overwhelmed and give up. I will not give up just because I made a mistake, instead I will look at that mistake, learn from it, and move on.

  • Order my domain name at Go Daddy - completed
  • Make new Gmail account for my business- Completed
  • Finish cleaning and putting away camping gear- completed
  • Wash Cars- completed
  • Continue Reading 10 pages per day - continuous 
  • Continue Eating Healthier - continuous 
  • Drink Shakeology at least once daily - continuous
  • Start drinking Recovery Formula - Started August 23
  • Participate in 8 in 8 twice weekly- completed 2 this wk 
  • Clean front porch - completed
  • Talk to 2 people per day - still working on 
  • Meet 5 new people this week - completed
  • Update my Fit Phatty Profile- completed
  • Make contact with new customers - Completed
  • Continue Pushing myself harder - continuous
I'm pretty happy with how many of my goals I've completed this week. My eating habits for the week could have been a lot better, but I'm not letting that hold me down. Tomorrow is the begining of a new week and I am moving forward. Things are continuing to improve for me little by little and I'm happy with that.

  • Participate in 8 in 8 twice weekly- deadline - 7 weeks

  • Talk to 2 people per day - deadline- for life
  • Meet 5 new people this week - deadline - August 28
  • Update my Fit Phatty Profile- deadline August 25
  • Make contact with new customers - Completed
  • Continue Pushing myself harder - deadline - for life
So there are some new goals that have been added for this week and some that are already completed. I am striving to push myself a little harder everyday so that I can reach my goals.

I am going to do the best that I can and nothing less in order to reach my weekly goals. I will continue to not let anything or anyone stand in the way of my goals. I will continue to believe in myself even when there are bumps in my road.

Accomplishments and Goals for the Week of August 21-28, 2011

So I accomplished all but one of my goals last week. I wasn't able to read my 10 pages a day, but thats ok I will catch that up cause I have been reading way more than that when I do read. I tried new recipes off of Beach Body and took them camping with me. They were so delicious too. Everyone that tried them loved them. I also recieved my P90X Results and Recovery Formula while I was on my trip and I'm really excited to try it.


So here are my goals for this week:

So these are my goals for this week and I will continue to strive to keep reaching for my goals because I know I can do this and its my life.

I will put the work into my life that I need to to reach my goals and become a healthier and happier person. I will also help others in their journey.

 The only one on this list that I have tried and my family, friends, and I all loved were the Garlic-Basil Burgers. I will be making all these recipes on Wednesday since I am leaving Thursday morning. I will update you on how all the others turned out.

8/8/2011 Workout

So I just completed my TJ 20 min. I did not let the business of the day stop me from completing my workout. No Excuses, No BS. I worked from the time I got up this morning (7:30 am) until about 10:30pm tonight and still managed to get a workout in. I'm pushing myself more than ever to get fit and healthy, not only for my sake, but for my kids sakes too. I want to be the example for them and prevent them from joining the trend of childhood obesity and adulthood obesity.

Tonight's workout went great, I'm still working on the moves and perfecting the form, but I'm up and moving and that is the most important at this point. The form and moves will improve with time and practice. I'm feeling good and the sweat is dripping off of me.

  • Finishing the book I'm reading "It's Not Over Until You Win"
  • Following my TJ schedule
  • Following my BB meal plans
  • Getting more organized
  • Starting 8n8
  • Get my BB, Fit Phatty, and Blog profiles updated
  • Hopefully recieve my Shakeology and start drinking it again
  • Send out some info to a few friends.
  • Continue working on my homework for my business

Menu for August 8-10, 2011

This is my menu for next week. The lunches and snacks may change depending on the food in the house for the week and leftovers from dinner, but this is what I plan for what is on hand in the fridge as of today.

Monday: 

 Breakfast: Scrambled egg with toast with 24 oz water
 Snack:  Banana    24 oz water
 Lunch: Turkey Sandwinch, cheddar cheese, light mayo, and 2 slices turkey lunch meat with Cantelope, 24 oz water
       
Tuesday:

Breakfast: Toast with peanut butter   24 oz water
Snack:   cantelope with 24 oz water
Lunch: Chicken salad with carrots, celery, green onion, and bow tie pasta. 24 oz

Wednesday:

Breakfast: Egg and toast, 24 oz water
Snack:  Carrot sticks  24 oz water
Lunch: Leftover chicken salad, 24 oz water

  9. Stay Positive

  13. Stay focused on my goals
So these are my goals for the month of August. I want better for myself and my family, but I keep letting outside influences distract me from my goals. Well not this month! I am working on me and I am the only one that can change me, so I am putting one foot in front of the other and reaching MY GOALS!!!

Weekend Accomplishments for June 29th-31 2011

So here are some things I accomplished this weekend, I didn't get any TJ in, but I still got a workout and focused on eating right.
  1. Washed both my cars
  2. Read 3 Chapters
  3. Went to the river 2 X
  4. Did some training with my dog
  5. Cleaned house
  6. Did laundry
  7. Put new tags on one of my cars
  8. Did some grocery shopping
  9. Weeded my flower beds
  10. Continued eating better
